4. Reindeer Hot Chocolate Gift Cones
Crafts you can give away are the most useful kind. These filled cones look like a reindeer head and hold everything needed for a mug of cocoa.
What you need: clear plastic treat bags or piping bags, hot cocoa mix, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, a brown pipe cleaner, googly eyes, a red pom-pom, and a rubber band or twist tie.
Layer cocoa mix, then marshmallows, then chocolate chips inside the bag, pressing gently so the layers stay distinct. Twist the top closed and secure it. Wrap a brown pipe cleaner around the twisted top and bend it into antlers. Glue eyes and a nose onto the front of the bag, just below the twist.
Time: 10 minutes each. Difficulty: beginner.
These work as neighbor gifts, teacher presents, stocking stuffers, or party favors. Add a handwritten tag with warming instructions. Keep them away from direct heat so the chocolate does not bloom, and store them in a cool pantry for up to a month.
